Loose Women star Jane Moore has surprised fans by announcing: “There’s a new man in my life.”
The reveal comes after the 63-year-old confirmed her split from husband Gary Farrow — whom she was married to for more than two decades — back in 2022.
But the “man” she’s referring to isn’t romantic at all. He walks on four legs, wears a furry coat, and goes by the adorable name Cowboy — Jane’s brand-new dog.
This morning (November 20), Jane introduced Cowboy to her Instagram followers, sharing a selfie with her sweet new companion.
“There’s a new man in my life,” she wrote. “Meet Cowboy — he’s an eight-year-old Norfolk terrier and a former stud dog who needed a place to retire. Despite a name that suggests he belongs in the countryside, he’s adapted to city life wonderfully and he’s an absolute sweetheart.”
Jane went on to explain that she hadn’t planned on getting another dog after the loss of her Tibetan terrier Jasper more than two years ago.
“There was a dog-shaped hole in my life,” she admitted, “so I finally took the plunge and gave this charming boy a new home.” She added that Cowboy already has his Christmas hat ready, shown in her second photo.
Her Loose Women co-stars were quick to gush over Cowboy in the comments.
“I’m in love with him,” Coleen Nolan wrote — prompting Jane to jokingly reply: “Hands off!”
Ruth Langsford added: “Oh hello, Cowboy! He’s GORGEOUS, Jane! x”
Katie Piper agreed: “Ohhh he’s gorgeous.”
And GK Barry joked: “Can’t wait to meet the newest member of the Loose Women panel.”
Cowboy will no doubt be a welcome source of company for Jane, who recently spoke about adjusting to living alone for the first time after her marriage breakdown. She publicly confirmed her separation from Gary on Loose Women in December 2022 and expressed her hope to stay on good terms for the sake of their children.
Jane shares two daughters, Ellie and Grace, from a previous relationship, and she is also stepmother to Gary’s daughter Lauren.
